Chester High School announced four of their seniors to be 2022-2023 Illinois State Scholars on Monday, October 19.
The students named Scholars were Chelsea August, Briley Miles, Jacob Handel, and William Schuwerk. They represent the top ten percent of seniors from high schools statewide. Students are chosen based on ACT or SAT scores, grade point averages, and class rank.
