Chester High School will have an assembly at 10:15 a.m. on Nov. 15 with guest speaker Kate Garnes.
Garnes is a public speaker who has spoken in over 30 states around the country from California to Florida. She is also a choreographer, kickbox trainer, and YouTuber. She has also performed as a dancer and actor at Disney World, Universal Orlando, Seaworld Orlando and Legoland. She published her first book in 2019 and was resident emcee for the Shake the Ground Dance Competition tour.
Garnes said she went from feeling like the underdog and being told she was never good enough to accomplishing more than she could imagine. She was one of the outstanding keynote speakers at the Cebrin Goodman Teen Institute this past July. She delivers a positive message for young people and their way to success. Garnes will be delivering a positive message to our students and staff at this upcoming assembly.
