On Nov. 30, 4 families and 2 businesses were announced winners of the Holiday Home Lighting contest. The categories were, White Lights, Inflatable Fun, Traditional Christmas, Whimsical, Creative and Holiday Spirit. The four families that won were the Rhodes family on 1718 Swanwick St. for White Lights, the Horn family on 328 Van Zant St. for Inflatable Fun, the Carter family on 627 Van Zant St. for Traditional Christmas, and the Gibbs family on 732 Valley Street for Whimsical. The two businesses that won were Square One Flooring for Creative and The Manor at Craig Farms for Holiday Spirit. These winners were announced at the gazebo before the tree lighting ceremony that took place there.
