Cheer Competed In Conference Tournament
Chester cheerleaders competed in the Cahokia Conference cheerleading competition.

On Monday, January 16th, the Chester High School cheerleaders competed at Waterloo High School for the Conference Cheer Competition.
They competed at 10:30 a.m. and were against four other schools in our conference, Columbia, Breese Central, East Alton and Red Bud. They scored a 78.75, which is 8 whole points more than their last competition. They also had 0 deductions. This was a redemption for many of the cheerleaders and many are happy with their scores.
Each team at the end of the competition was rewarded with at least two cheerleaders from their team being awarded all-conference. From Chester, Bethany Baughman and Dyson Helmers were awarded with all-conferences and received a medal.
