Apocalypse newest AHS entry

Jaci South, Sting Editor

If you’ve been living off the grid and haven’t seen American Horror Story, now is time to start. The recently premiered new season 8, Apocalypse, is a mashup of two fan favorites, Murder House and Coven.

The season follows the dropping of an atomic bomb in Los Angeles and the flee of multiple chosen survivors to a safe house, run under the iron fist of Ms. Venable (Sarah Paulson) and Ms. Meade (Kathy Bates). Some of the most notable survivors are Mr. Gallant (Evan Peters), Mallory (Billy Gourde). The survivors live off of gelatin vitamin cubes, with little for entertainment and dwindling supplies. This is where Michael Langdon, a character from Murder House, comes in.

If you, like me, haven’t watched American Horror Story recently, this is a great reintroduction. Fan favorite, Jessica Lange, who left after four seasons on the show, will even make a cameo as Constance Langdon, her first season character. You can watch new episodes on FX, Wednesday at 9 p.m. If you need to watch up, you can watch episodes 1 and 2 on FX’s website.
