Lady Jackets Take Down Red Bud

The Chester Yellow Jackets Girls’ Basketball Team defeated Red Bud 44-42 at home on Thursday, February 2.
The Chester Lady Jackets came out strong but trailed by 5 going into the half. A strong third quarter from the Chester girls propelled them into a 1-point lead heading into the 4th quarter. Chester was able to gain a 5-point lead with about 20 seconds left thanks to some made free throws. Red Bud hit one final shot, but it was too late to make a comeback.
Camrynn Howie led the girls in scoring.
The girls will play again on Saturday, Feb, 4, at home against Wesclin.
