CHS has a new vice principal, this year, to take over Mr. Blechle’s position. That new part of our staff is Mrs. Barton.

She has lived in Chester for 30 years and has had nothing but great things about the students and staff here. She taught for 21 years and she wanted to not only help students, but help teachers, as well. She has taught in 4 different schools and Chester was her very first, and decided to come back.

Her goal this year is to help teachers make their jobs easier, so they can focus on more student oriented things, rather than stress of the job. She is also looking to improve the school, while serving the staff and the students.

Mrs. Barton said there is one thing she would like to tell all staff and students, “I hope you all have a great school year!”
