Three Chester golfers advanced to the McLeansboro Sectional on Oct. 4.

Chance Mott led Chester with an 85. Gage Hasemeyer shot 87 and Clayton Andrews 88. All three golfers are juniors.

Chester placed fourth as a team, shooting a 357. The top three teams advanced to the sectional as a team.

In the girls’ regional at Belleville, junior Aubrie Medford shot a 95 to advance to the sectional at Waterloo. Sophomore Camryn Luthy also advanced after carding a 100.
