The Chester Yellow Jackets beat Dupo 53-30 Friday, Oct. 7, at Dupo.

Chester’s offense dominated Dupo’s defense. Zain Al-Jassim passed for 78 yards and threw 2 touchdowns. Devante Palacio had 3 receptions for 49 yards and 1 touchdown, Gage Hopkins had 2 receptions for 11 yards and 1 touchdown. Chester’s rushing offense was incredible; they had 5 rushing touchdowns all together. Gage Hopkins had 4 carries for 16 yards and 1 touchdown. Jack Heffernan had 4 carries for 23 yards and 1 touchdown. Kolton Jany had 11 carries for 102 yards and 1 touchdown. Will Schuwerk led Chester with 18 carries for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns. One of Schuwerk’s scores was a 66-yard kickoff return.

Gage Hopkins and Trenton Eggemeyer led the defense in total tackles each, both having 4, and they both had 1 tackle for a loss, Nate Maes had 2 solo tackles and 1 tackles for a loss, Matt James had 3 total tackles and 2 tackles for a loss and 1 of the tackles was a sack, Shane Bicket had 2 total tackles, both for a loss of yards. There were 2 interceptions; one was caught by Will Schuwerk and the other was caught by Aden Runge.
