Notes: This EP is so nostalgic for me, I grew up listening to it and it was kinda an introduction to punk music. This really kicked off my love for the genre so it has a special place in my heart. I definitely recommend it.
Album #2: Transmissions from the Satellite Heart by The Flaming Lips
Favorite Song: She Don’t Use Jelly
Notes: I’m so obsessed with The Flaming Lips, and when I saw them live in concert in 2023 I was overjoyed I got to hear them perform songs from this album. This whole album is wonderful and I have it on repeat constantly.
Album #3: Visions by Grimes
Favorite Song: Genesis
Notes: “Visions” is such an aesthetically pleasing album, and although I don’t love it as much as “Art Angels,” I still enjoyed it a bunch. Another artistic and interesting album from Grimes, that is just absolutely amazing.
